CompostNow's 2024 Annual Report is done curing, and you can read the full version here.

Our Annual Report is an opportunity for us to share the impact composting has on the environment, in our communities, and through our partners. We're so grateful to everyone who contributed to another record-breaking year of impact in 2024 and hope this report leaves you feeling inspired and ready to take action!

2024 Annual Report Highlights

In 2024, we continued to break records in waste diversion, expanding our services and forging new partnerships to create resilient, closed-loop communities.

Building on our commitment to support municipal composting, we launched a USDA grant-funded curbside composting program with the City of Avondale Estates, which has already diverted over 50,000 pounds of food scraps since August 2024. We also expanded our infrastructure by acquiring 31 acres to develop a Class III Composting Facility in Georgia.

Innovation remained central to our work, with the release of the CompostHere mobile app and cart housing stations, making it easier for municipalities to set up accessible organic waste programs. Additionally, we introduced a Hard-to-Recycle Pick-up Service, helping our members keep even more materials out of landfills.

Beyond waste diversion, we remain committed to soil health through our Garden Partners Program, which provided $110,000 worth of compost to local growers, and our team delivered over 1.5 million pounds of compost to our communities in 2024.

Our ongoing investment in infrastructure and partnerships reflects our dedication to long-term impact, ensuring that composting and recycling stay accessible and efficient. As demand for composting grows, we’re focused on scaling solutions, fostering strong municipal collaborations, and using our operational expertise to close the loop on organic waste.
